City National Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - City National Corp (CYN) Thursday reported third-quarter net earnings to stockholders of $64.6 million or $1.15 per share compared with $61.2 million or $1.10 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $324 million compared with $303 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $1.07 per share on revenues of $324.2 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net interest income for the quarter was $216 million, up from $214 million last year, and noninterest income climbed to $107.9 million from $88.9 million.

City National announced a quarterly cash dividend of $0.33 per share.
