Check Point Software Technologies Ltd Profit Rises 7% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Check Point Software Technologies Ltd (CHKPc) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $216.00 million, or $1.20 per share. This was up from $202.56 million, or $1.07 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.15 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.9% to $458.07 million. This was up from $420.64 million last year.
