Carbylan Therapeutics Appoints Three New Directors To Board - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Carbylan Therapeutics said it has appointed Keith Katkin, David Clapper and Edward Unkart to its board of directors, effective December 4, 2014. With these additions, its board now consists of eight directors.

Keith Katkin is President, CEO and a member of the board of directors of Avanir Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AVNR), a developer of biopharmaceutical therapies for the treatment of central nervous system disorders.

David Clapper is CEO of Minerva Surgical, a privately held medical device company focused on treating excessive menstrual bleeding.

Edward Unkart has served as a member of the board of directors of numerous public and private companies, such as XTENT, VNUS Medical Technologies, Concentric Medical and AlterG.
