BGC Partners Q2 Profit Rises, Ups Dividend - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - BGC Partners (BGCP), a brokerage company servicing the financial and real estate markets, Wednesday said its second-quarter net income increased to $13.3 million from $11.1 million in the previous year.

Earnings per share grew to $0.04 from $0.03. Distributable earnings per share climbed to $0.18 from $0.13.

Revenues increased to $669.1 million from $417.2 million in the prior year. Revenues for distributable earnings grew to $684.6 million from $430.3 million.

The board declared a 14 cent qualified dividend for the second quarter, consistent with the first quarter, an increase of 16.7 percent year-over-year.
