B/E Aerospace Names Werner Lieberherr Co-CEO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - B/E Aerospace, Inc.'s (BEAV) current President and Chief Operating Officer or COO, Werner Lieberherr, has been appointed as the company's co-Chief Executive, with effect from January 1, 2014. Lieberherr, who was named President and COO of the company effective December 31, 2010, joined B/E Aerospace as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Commercial Aircraft Segment in 2006.

Before joining B/E Aerospace, he spent about 20 years in the energy industry, leading businesses for ABB Ltd. and Alstom S.A. during which time he served in various senior management positions in Europe, Asia and as President of ABB Power Generation North America, the company said.
