Amazon, Whole Foods Market To Deliver Grocery In Denver, Sacramento, San Diego
(RTTNews) - Amazon (AMZN) announced Tuesday that the company and Whole Foods Market (WFM) launched free two-hour delivery of natural and organic products from Whole Foods Market through Prime Now in Denver, Sacramento and San Diego.
Starting Tuesday, prime members in those cities can shop through Prime Now for items including fresh produce, high quality meat and seafood, everyday staples and other locally sourced items from Whole Foods Market.
A selection of alcohol is also available for delivery to customers in Sacramento and San Diego. Prime members receive two-hour delivery for free and ultra-fast delivery within one hour for $7.99 on orders of $35 or more.
The company noted that delivery from Whole Foods Market through Prime Now is available daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The service launched earlier this year with plans for continued expansion across the U.S. throughout 2018. The company noted that the ultrafast delivery from Whole Foods Market is now available in ten cities through Prime Now, while more will come in 2018.
