Adobe Q1 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE) reported net income for the first quarter of $84.9 million or $0.17 per share, compared to $47.0 million or $0.09 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the first quarter was $224.3 million or $0.44 per share, compared to $151.3 million or $0.30 per share in the prior year quarter.

Total revenue for the first quarter rose to $1.11 billion from $1.00 billion a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.39 per share on revenue of $1.09 billion for the first quarter.
