Taiwan Leading Index Continues To Fall
(RTTNews) - Taiwan's leading index continued its downward trend in November, figures from the National Development Council showed Friday.
The leading indicator declined 0.17 percent month-on-month November, the same rate of fall as seen in October.
Meanwhile, the coincident index that measures the current economic activity, gained 0.26 percent following a 0.24 percent rise in the prior month.
The lagging index, a measure of past economic conditions, climbed 0.23 percent versus a 0.14 percent growth a month ago. This was the second consecutive rise in the index.
