Poland's Unemployment Rate Drops In June

(RTTNews) - Poland's unemployment rate decreased from the previous month in June, data released by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy showed Friday.

The registered unemployment rate declined to 13.2 percent in June from 13.5 percent in the previous month.

The number of unemployed persons in the country decreased 2.9 percent month-on-month to 2.11 million in June, marking the second consecutive decline which indicated a gradual improvement in the labor market.

At the same time, the number of vacancies and professional activation decreased 1.3 percent month-on-month to 75,100 in June, data showed.
