Mexico November Industrial Production Growth Misses Expectations

(RTTNews) - Mexico's industrial production grew less-than-expected in November, figures from the statistical office INEGI showed Friday.

Industrial production rose 0.23 percent monthly, which was less than economists' forecast for 0.40 percent growth.

Annually, production increased 1.8 percent in November following an upwardly revised 2.5 percent gain in the previous month. Economists had expected 2.1 percent growth for the month. The latest increase was the smallest in three months.

Manufacturing output climbed 3.6 percent annually following 4.2 percent growth in October. Economists were looking for a 3.9 percent gain.
