Mexico Jobless Rate Unexpectedly Eases
(RTTNews) - Mexico's unemployment rate unexpectedly eased in April, figures from the statistical office INEGI showed Friday.
The seasonally adjusted jobless rate declined to 3.9 percent from 4.2 percent in March. Economists had expected the rate to remain unchanged.
The unadjusted unemployment rate, in contrast, climbed to 3.8 percent from 3.7 percent. Economists had forecast a jobless figure of 4.1 percent.
