Iceland PPI Inflation Slows Further
(RTTNews) - Iceland's producer price inflation eased for the fourth straight month in July, figures from Statistics Portugal showed Monday.
The producer price index rose 7.4 percent year-over-year in July, much slower than June's 11.0 percent climb. The index has been rising since August 2014.
Prices in the domestic market grew 4.0 percent in July from a year ago and foreign market prices surged by 8.4 percent.
On a monthly basis, producer prices declined at a faster pace of 2.5 percent in July, following a 0.4 percent drop in the prior month. It was the second successive monthly decrease.
