Bulgaria's Industrial Production Rises For Third Month

(RTTNews) - Bulgaria's industrial production increased for the third successive month in November, but at a weaker rate than in the previous month, preliminary data released by the National Statistical Institute revealed Friday.

Industrial production grew a working-day adjusted 2.8 percent annually in November, which followed a 3.6 percent gain in October. Production has now increased for the third month in a row.

Manufacturing production grew 4.7 percent annually, and mining and quarrying production climbed 28.4 percent. Meanwhile, production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning decreased by 11.4 percent.

Industrial production edged up a seasonally adjusted 0.2 percent compared to October, when it logged a 1.4 percent rise, data showed.
