Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc -- Moody's: Valeant's revised offer for Allergan credit positive
New York, May 28, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service commented that the revised offer by Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. ("Valeant") to acquire Allergan, Inc. ("Allergan") is credit positive for Valeant. Valeant is rated Ba3 (Corporate Family Rating) with a developing outlook, and there is currently no impact on the ratings from the revised bid. Concurrently, Valeant announced it would sell its injectables business to Nestle SA for $1.4 billion in cash.
