Sports Authority Inc. (The) -- Moody's downgrades Sport Authority's PDR to D-PD following bankruptcy filing; will withdraw ratings
New York, March 02, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service, ("Moody's") today downgraded Sport Authority Inc.'s ("Sports Authority") Probability of Default Rating to D-PD from Ca-PD/LD. The downgrade was prompted by Sport Authority's March 2, 2016 announcement that it had initiated Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. The outlook was changed to stable from negative.
