Moody's: Wide earnings disparity in North American, EMEA chemicals sector reflects macro factors
New York, November 06, 2015 -- The strong dollar, volatile commodities prices and slowing growth in China and Brazil are leading to a wide range in earnings across the chemicals industry in the North American and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, says Moody's Investors Service. However, overall industry growth will remain in a low growth mode through early 2017, underpinning the rating agency's stable outlook on the industry.
