Moody's: Strong Agricultural Demand Offsets Suppliers' Higher Transport Costs
New York, February 06, 2013 -- Low water levels on the Mississippi River will lead to higher transportation costs for producers of fertilizer and other agricultural commodities in early 2013, Moody's Investors Service says in a new report. Nevertheless, strong demand and prices should more than offset their increased costs.
