Moody's: No rating impact on Kentucky's bonds as a result of loan sale and bond purchase

New York, November 19, 2013 -- Moody's announced today that the execution of the Corporation Order as of November 19, 2013 to sell approximately $386 million of loans from the Kentucky Higher Education Student Loan Corporation ("KHESLC") (1997 General Bond Resolution) and to purchase bonds would not, in and of itself and as of this time, result in the downgrade or withdrawal of the outstanding ratings assigned to bonds issued from the KHESLC (1997 General Bond Resolution).
