Moody's: Global consumer packaged goods outlook raised to positive on higher earnings
New York, October 11, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service has raised its outlook for the global consumer packaged goods industry to positive from stable as companies start to reap the benefit from cost-cutting programs. Modest improvements in economic growth in key emerging markets, combined with a relatively benign outlook for commodity costs, will also support earnings.
