Genworth Life Insurance Company -- Moody's withdraws short-term financial strength ratings on certain Genworth subsidiaries; long-term ratings unaffected

New York, October 15, 2013 -- Moody's has today withdrawn the P-2 short-term insurance financial strength (IFS) ratings of Genworth Life Insurance Company (GLIC) and Genworth Life and Annuity Insurance Company (GLAIC). The A3/stable outlook long-term IFS ratings for GLIC and GLAIC are unaffected.
