Domtar Corporation -- Moody's views Domtar's acquisition of Indas as a credit positive
Toronto, November 19, 2013 -- Domtar Corporation's (Domtar, Baa3 stable) announced acquisition of privately-held Laboratorios Indas (Indas, unrated), a leading supplier of branded adult incontinence products in Spain, for about EUR400 million ($540 million), is credit positive. The acquisition will expand Domtar's personal care footprint in Europe, lessen the company's exposure to the secular decline in paper, while only modestly increasing the company's leverage. Domtar's Baa3 senior unsecured rating and stable outlook remain unchanged.
