British Columbia, Province of -- Moody's comments on the 2014/15 budget of British Columbia
Toronto, February 19, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service notes that, according to British Columbia's recently released 2014/15 budget, the province is expected to post a surplus in 2013/14 and remain in a surplus position across the three year budget horizon, consistent with previous forecasts. Including contingencies and forecast allowances, the province's surpluses are expected to reach CAD451 million (1% of revenue) by 2016/17.
