Banco Do Brasil S.A. (Cayman) -- Moody's rates Banco do Brasil's proposed CHF senior unsecured notes Baa2; stable outlook
Sao Paulo, November 26, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service has today assigned a Baa2 foreign currency debt rating to the senior unsecured notes to be issued by Banco do Brasil S.A. through its Grand Cayman branch (BB Cayman). The proposed notes in the amount of CHF 200 million will be denominated and settled in CHF, and are due June 2019. The notes will be issued under the bank's US$5 billion global medium-term note program, which is rated (P) Baa2. The outlook is stable.
