American Apparel, Inc. -- Moody's downgrades American Apparel's Corporate Family Rating to Caa2; Sr. Secured Notes to Caa2

New York, November 19, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service today downgraded the Corporate Family Rating and senior secured note rating of American Apparel, Inc. to Caa2 from Caa1. The Probability of Default Rating was downgraded to Caa2-PD from Caa1-PD. The company's Speculative Grade Liquidity rating was lowered to SGL-4 from SGL-3. The rating outlook is negative.
