ÅF recruits Emma Claesson as VP HR

ÅF has recruited Emma Claesson as VP HR for the ÅF Group. Emma will assume her position at the latest 1st of November and will be included as a member of ÅF's Group management.

"HR is a central hub of a knowledge-based engineering company like ÅF," says Jonas Wiström, President and CEO. "Attracting, retaining, and developing the best engineers is crucial for us. I'm very delighted that we've recruited Emma Claesson as HR-Director for the ÅF Group going forward."

Emma has a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Uppsala University. She has extensive experience in strategic HR and is currently with SSAB, where she worked for more than four years in the HR organization, including three years as HR Director for EMEA, SSAB's biggest business area. Before that, Emma worked for ten years as a management consultant at Accenture, focusing on change management as well as business and organizational development, primarily in the industrial sector.

Last year, Emma was named "HR Manager of the Year" by the company Management Events and earlier this year she received the "Young Manager of the Year" award from Chef (Manager) magazine.
