Wyndham Worldwide Announces 1% Advance In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Wyndham Worldwide (WYN) revealed a profit for its third quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $209 million, or $2.03 per share. This was up from $207 million, or $1.89 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $2.02 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 3.8% to $1.63 billion. This was up from $1.57 billion last year.
