Williams Companies Drops 10% Following FERC Order Update

(RTTNews) - Shares of Williams Companies, Inc. (WMB) dropped nearly 10 percent following the announcement that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued an Order on Remand.

WMB is currently trading at $53.97, down $5.60 or 9.39 percent on the New York Stock Exchange. The stock opened today at $57.85 and has fluctuated within a range of $53.35 to $57.87.

Over the past year, WMB's stock has traded between $32.65 and $61.46, with today's volume reaching 11.4 million shares, significantly higher than its average volume of 6.9 million shares.

The REA order will take effect immediately upon the mandate issuance by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
