VeriFone Systems, Inc Reports 52% Increase In Q4 Earnings

(RTTNews) - VeriFone Systems, Inc (PAY) reported earnings for its fourth quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $50.2 million, or $0.44 per share. This was up from $33.1 million, or $0.30 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.43 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.8% to $477 million. This was up from $464 million last year.
