UTi Worldwide Posts Wider Q4 Loss

(RTTNews) - UTi Worldwide Inc. (UTIW) reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of $103.9 million or $1.02 per share, compared to a net loss of $56.0 million or $0.53 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Total revenues for the fourth quarter fell 10% to $964.6 million from $1.07 billion a year earlier, while net revenues for the quarter fell 14.5% to $312.2 million from $365.2 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.08 per share on revenue of $1.08 billion for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
