Sunrise Suite Provides Integrated Health Records to Enhance Patient Care

CHICAGO and MANCHESTER, UK, Oct. 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) selected the Allscripts (Nasdaq:MDRX) Sunrise(TM) platform as its new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system to enhance care coordination for healthcare providers, patients and families.

UHSM is a major acute teaching hospital based in Wythenshawe, Manchester, United Kingdom. With the Sunrise suite, UHSM plans to transform its clinical practice by delivering integrated care records from admission through discharge, actively engaging patients in their healthcare experience and enabling EPR integration with other health organizations. The goal is to improve patient safety, clinical effectiveness and the quality of patient outcomes in a way that can be continuously measured and improved.
