Universal Health Services Acquires Cygnet Health Care For About $335 Mln

(RTTNews) - Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) reported acquiring Cygnet Health Care Ltd.'s stock for around $335 million. As a result of this acquisition, it has added a total of 17 facilities throughout the UK, including 15 inpatient behavioral health hospitals and 2 nursing homes with a total of 743 beds. Cygnet recorded nearly $161 million of annual revenue over the past year.

Cygnet is an independent provider of behavioral health facilities in the UK. They are the leading specialist mental health provider in the UK which includes services for children, eating disorders and autism.
