United Airlines To Reduce International Schedule By 95% For April

(RTTNews) - United Airlines Holdings Inc (UAL) announced Friday that it would reduce its international schedule by 95% for April due to government restrictions prohibiting travel in an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The company specified that it will temporarily suspend all flights to Canada effective April 1 and drawing down its remaining trans-Atlantic, trans-Pacific operations. The company also noted that it will reduce its Mexico operation over the next five days.

On March 17, United Airlines announced a 60 percent schedule reduction in April - this includes a 42 percent reduction across the U.S. and Canada and an 85 percent decrease in international flights.
