Uniper Begins Trading On Frankfurt Exchange; Spin-off Completed On Schedule

(RTTNews) - E.ON (EONGY.PK) announced it has completed the Uniper spin-off as planned. The shares of Uniper SE started trading in the Prime Standard on the Frankfurt stock exchange on Monday. The opening price was set at 10.015 euros during an opening auction on the trading platform Xetra.

As part of the listing, the shareholders of E.ON were allotted 53.35 percent of the shares of Uniper SE. In addition, they received one new no-par value registered share of Uniper SE for each ten shares held in E.ON SE.

Uniper is an international energy company with operations in more than 40 countries and roughly 13,000 employees. Its primary role is the reliable supply of energy and related services. Its core activities include the production of electricity in Europe and Russia, together with global energy trading.
