(TTC), a provider of turf maintenance equipment, announced third-quarter net earnings of $40.1 million, or $0.68 per share, versus $40.5 million, or $0.67 per share, last year. On average, 4 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings per share of $0.57 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Quarterly net sales rose 1.2 percent to $509.9 million, from $504.1 million in the comparable fiscal 2012 period. Analysts estimated revenues of $505 million for the quarter.
