Toro Company Q3 Profit Tops View; Lifts FY15 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - The Toro Company (TTC) reported third-quarter net income of $53.32 million or $0.94 per share, compared to $50.01 million or $0.87 per share, prior year.

On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.91 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net sales increased 7.4% to $609.62 million from $567.54 million last year, while three analysts expected revenue of $613.24 million for the quarter.

The company raised its full-year 2015 earnings outlook to about $3.50 per share and expects revenue growth to be about 10 percent. Analysts expect the company to report fiscal 2015 earnings per share of $3.45.

Earlier, the company expected net earnings per share to be about $3.35 to $3.45 and revenue of about 8 to 10 percent.
