Toro Co Q4 Profit Rises 116%

(RTTNews) - Toro Co (TTC) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $23.55 million, or $0.42 per share. This was higher than $10.90 million, or $0.19 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.39 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 16.1% to $480.81 million. This was up from $414.14 million last year.
