An agreement announced today by Toll Brothers Homes and QwestCommunications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) makes Scottsdale'sWindgate Ranch development the first Arizona development to beconnected via fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) technology.

Through Qwest FTTH service, new Windgate Ranch homeowners in themaster-planned community in Scottsdale will have Qwest High-SpeedInternet service - up to 10 megabits per second. Homeowners will alsohave the option to choose a Qwest service bundle, including digitalvoice (local and long-distance phone service); Qwest Choice TV, anall-digital TV service with more than 200 channels, HDTV programmingand digital video recorders; and Qwest wireless service, allconveniently integrated on one bill.

In addition, during the home-buying process, trained salesprofessionals will promote Qwest's comprehensive, money-saving bundlesof communications and entertainment services. Qwest will provideWindgate Ranch residents with a single point-of-contact throughout theproperty-development lifecycle to simplify and expedite the planningand deployment of the latest technologies in the new communities.

Qwest FTTH connections in Windgate Ranch will allow families tosimultaneously run today's most bandwidth-intensive applications -such as high-definition digital TV, Internet access to music and videodownloading, online gaming, and streaming video - and assurescustomers their broadband connection will support tomorrow'sapplications with ease.
