Tech Data Europe Named 2014 Microsoft Distribution Partner of the Year

CLEARWATER, Fla. and BARCELONA, Spain, July 21, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq:TECD) today announced that Tech Data Europe has been named the 2014 Distribution Partner of the Year by Microsoft. The awards were presented at the 2014 Microsoft World Partner Conference (WPC) held last week at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The company was honored among a global field of top Microsoft Corp. partners for excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

At WPC, Tech Data Europe was also named winner of the Worldwide Sales Achievement Award 2014 for SMB Distribution for the second consecutive year.
