Syneron Appoints New Vice President of Global Marketing; Leading Medical Aesthetics Company Names Seasoned Medical Marketing Executive to Lead Global Initiatives

    YOKNEAM, Israel and TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 22, 2005--Syneron Medical Ltd. (NASDAQ: ELOS) and Syneron North America has named Leslie Rigali as the Company's Vice President of Global Marketing. In her new role as vice president, Rigali will lead the Company's global marketing efforts and staff. She joined the company as the Director of Marketing in 2004. Her continued success within the Company led to her recent promotion.
    Credited with developing and implementing Syneron's hands-on Practice Development Consulting service for customers, Rigali helped strengthen Syneron's model that focuses on the business success of its physician customers. The Practice Consulting service was a first in the medical aesthetics device industry and continues to bring strong recognition and positive results to Syneron and the Company's customers.

    Rigali's experience in medical marketing spans 20 years. Prior to Syneron, Rigali was founder and president of Davanti Communications, a full-service marketing, public relations and video production firm founded in 1986. At Davanti, Rigali worked with large medical centers, medical and industrial product manufacturers and physicians as clients. Her extensive background in business-to-business marketing and communications as well as award-winning work in consumer marketing and product brand building attracted domestic and international clients including Procter & Gamble, Westinghouse and Wilson Sporting Goods. Rigali also served as an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University and Ohio Northern University, teaching courses in communications, market research and advertising.
