Susser Reveals Board Appointments & Management Promotions - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Susser Holdings Corp. (SUSS) and Susser Petroleum Partners LP (SUSP) announced changes to their boards and management promotions.

Effective immediately, Sam Susser has been named the Board Chairman of SUSS. He would retain his Chief Executive position of SUSS, which he has held since 1992. Bruce Krysiak, the current board chairman of SUSS, would become Lead Independent Director. Further, Rob Jones would become Lead Independent Director of Susser Petroleum Partners GP LLC, the general partner of SUSP.

As separately announced, Frank Risch, retired Exxon Mobil Corp. executive, was elected to the board of SUSP's general partner, and Andrew "Drew" Alexander, President and Chief Executive of Weingarten Realty, has been elected to the SUSS board.

SUSS has seven board members, out of which five are classified as independent; and the SUSP general partner board also has seven members, five of whom are classified as independent and three of whom also serve on the Conflicts Committee.

Talking about the Management Promotions, the companies announced the appointment of Rocky Dewbre as President and Chief Executive of the general partner of SUSP. In addition, Gail Workman has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the general partner of SUSP, from her prior position as Senior Vice President, Sales and Operations. Also, Kevin Mahany has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Merchandising at Stripes LLC, from his earlier role of Vice President, Merchandising.
