Station Casinos' Stockholders Approve Company's Proposals; Union's Non-Binding Proposal Fails

Station Casinos, Inc. (NYSE:STN) ("Station" or the"Company") today announced the results of the matters voted on at its2006 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the "Annual Meeting"), which washeld today at Red Rock Casino Resort Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada.

At the Annual Meeting, the Company's stockholders re-elected twodirectors, Lowell H. Lebermann, Jr. and Robert E. Lewis, both of whomare independent members of the Board, each to serve a term of threeyears. The Company's stockholders also ratified the appointment of theCompany's independent auditors, Ernst & Young LLP, for 2006.

For the second year in a row, the Company's stockholders alsovoted down a non-binding proposal submitted by UNITE HERE, anaffiliate of the Culinary Workers' Union Local 226 (the "Union") andthe holder of 262 shares of the Company's common stock, whichrecommended changes to the Company's shareholder rights plan. TheUnion has been engaged in a long-running campaign to unionize theCompany's workforce. This proposal was unanimously opposed by theCompany's Board of Directors.

Wells Fargo Shareowner Services, the independent inspector ofelections for the Annual Meeting, has certified the voting results. Acopy of the Certificate of Report of Inspector of Elections (the"Certified Report") is attached as an Exhibit to the Company's Reporton Form 8-K to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.In order for the Union's non-binding proposal to be consideredapproved by the stockholders, the proposal would have needed theaffirmative vote of a majority of the shares present at the meeting inperson or represented by proxy. According to the Certified Report, theUnion's proposal received less than 45% affirmative votes at theAnnual Meeting.
