Snap-On Inc. Q3 Income Rises 13%

(RTTNews) - Snap-On Inc. (SNA) released earnings for its third quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $116.8 million, or $1.98 per share. This was higher than $103.7 million, or $1.76 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.94 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.9% to $821.5 million. This was up from $806.3 million last year.
