SkyPeople Fruit Juice CEO Hongke Xue Resigns

(RTTNews) - SkyPeople Fruit Juice, Inc. (SPU) said Monday that its Chief Executive Officer, Hongke Xue, has resigned, effective December 24.

Yongke Xue, currently Chairman of the company's board of directors, has been appointed to also serve as Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective December 24.

Hongke Xue's decision to resign was not a result of any disagreement with the company or its management on any matter relating to the company's operations, policies or practices, SkyPeople said in a statement.

Yongke Xue served as the company's Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to 2013 and has extensive knowledge of the company that is vital to the execution of its strategic plan. Yongke Xue is the brother of Hongke Xue.

The Company also announced that two members of its Board of Directors have tendered their resignations and that it has made a new appointment to the Board.
