Sky-mobi Q2 Loss Narrows - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Sky-mobi Limited (MOBI), a mobile application store in China, reported that its second-quarter loss and comprehensive loss attributable to owners of the company narrowed to RMB 3.94 million, from RMB 11.77 million, last year. Loss per share was RMB 0.02, compared to a loss of RMB 0.04, prior year.

Non-IFRS net loss for the period was RMB 1.51 million, compared to a loss of RMB 3.63 million, prior year. On non-IFRS basis, company reported breakeven per share, compared to a loss of RMB 0.01, prior year.

Revenues declined to RMB 116.58 million, from RMB 139.83 million, a year ago. Revenues from the smartphone business amounted to RMB 39.2 million, representing 33.6% of the company's total revenues in second quarter 2014.

For the fiscal third quarter 2014 ending December 31, 2013, Sky-mobi expects total revenues to be in the range of RMB 90 million to RMB 100 million.
