Sify's David Appasamy Is Vice Chair of the Internet and Telecoms Infrastructure and Services Task Force of the International Chamber of Commerce, Paris

appointment of David Appasamy, Chief Communications Officer, Sify
Limited, as the Vice Chair of the Internet and Telecoms Infrastructure
and Services (IT-IS) Task Force of ICC’s EBITT
Commission which is managed by ICC Secretariat in Paris.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Guy Sebban, ICC Secretary General,

while assisting Gordon Moir of British Telecom who is the Chairman of
the Task Force. David has contributed to ICC and EBITT in a number of
ways over the last two years, and we are very pleased to have him help
lead the work of this Task Force as the policy and practical issues in

leaders and experts drawn from the ICC worldwide membership to establish

Force on Internet and Telecoms Infrastructure and Services of the EBITT
Commission is to articulate the business point of view on international,
regional and national policy initiatives related to the Internet and
Telecoms sector.
