Revlon Q3 Net Income Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Cosmetics maker Revlon Inc. (REV) Wednesday said third-quarter net income climbed to $14.6 million from last year's $9.5 million. Earnings per share grew to $0.28 from $0.18.

Net sales climbed to $472.3 million from $333.1 million in the prior year.

Consumer segment net sales edged down 0.9 percent to $348.2 million, as compared to pro forma net sales of $351.3 million in the third quarter of 2013.

Professional segment net sales were $124.1 million compared to pro forma net sales of $122.6 million last year.

The pro forma results were provided due to the acquisition of The Colomer Group in October 2013.
