Red Hat Q4 Adj. Profit Tops View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Red Hat, Inc. (RHT) Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $45 million or $0.24 per share, compared to $43 million or $0.22 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Adjusted earnings for the latest fourth quarter were $75 million, or $0.39 per share, up from $70 million, or $0.36 per share in the prior year quarter. On average, 32 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.37 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased to $400.40 million from $347.88 million last year, while 29 analysts expected revenues of $398.92 million.
