RealPage Profit In Line, Revenue Beats; Tightens FY EPS Guidance

(RTTNews) - RealPage Inc (RP), a provider of software to the rental housing industry, Tuesday reported third-quarter net loss of $3.3 million or $0.04 per share compared with a profit of $12.9 million or $0.17 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.08 per share compared with $0.16 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were $104.5 million compared with $98 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.08 per share on revenues of $101.7 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the fourth quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings of $0.08 to $0.09 per share on revenues of $103 million to $105 million. Analysts expect earnings of $0.09 per share on revenues of $103.5 million.

For the calendar year ended December 2014, the company now projects adjusted earnings of $0.38 to $0.39 per share on revenues of $403.8 million to $405.8 million. Earlier it expected earnings of $0.37 to $0.40 per share on revenues of $400 million to $405 million.

Analysts expect earnings of $0.38 per share on revenues of $401.8 million for the year.
