Randon Reports Third Quarter And Nine Months Of 2017 Results

CAXIAS DO SUL, Brazil, Nov. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Randon S.A. – Implementos e Participações (BM&FBovespa - RAPT3 and RAPT4), the controlling holding company of nine companies operating within the segments of vehicles and trailers/semi-trailers, auto parts and financial services, reports its results for the third quarter of 2017 (3Q2017) and for the first nine months of the year (9M2017), ended September 30, 2017. The financial and operating information of the Company, except when otherwise stated, are consolidated in accordance with the international standards of IFRS – International Financial Reporting Standards and the monetary values are denominated in Reais.

• 9M2017 Total Gross Revenue, before consolidation, is R$ 3.0 billion, an increase of 6.4% as compared with 9M2016;
• 9M2017 Consolidated Net Revenue reached R$ 2.1 billion, 4.1% higher than 9M2016 (R$ 2.0 billion);
• 9M2017 EBITDA is R$ 229.9 million, 62.2% higher than 9M2016 EBITDA;
• R$ 43.1 million of Net Profit in 9M2017, with a Net Margin of 2.1%, against Net Loss of R$ 18.7 million in 9M2016.

HIGHLIGHTS

The main highlights of the 3Q2017 are as follows:

- Consolidated Net Revenue reached R$ 773.7 million in 3Q2017, 35.7% higher than in 3Q2016 (R$ 570.2 million);

- EBITDA increased 376.1% in 3Q2017 compared with 3Q2016, reaching R$ 94.7 million against R$ 19.9 million in the same period last year;

- Consolidated foreign sales totaled US$ 43.0 million in the quarter, an increase of 13.9%, compared with the same quarter in 2016 (US$ 37.8 million);

- Net Profit of R$ 22.6 million in the quarter and Net Margin of 2.9%, against net loss of R$ 16.0 million in 3Q2016.
