Biogen Idec Inc. (BIIB) is rising 12 percent to $282.50 based on the news that the European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use has updated its previous opinion and agreed that dymethil fumarate in Tecfidera is qualified as a new active substance.

POZEN Inc. (POZN) is up 14 percent to $7.80 based on the news about declaration of a special cash distribution of $1.75 per share to all stockholders of record on December 11, 2013, with an expected payment date of December 30, 2013.
